The objectives of our charity are to promote, advance and further the education, maintenance and benefit of deprived children in southern Indian and to relieve the sick, disabled, handicapped, infirm and those otherwise in a condition of need, hardship or distress.

In practice, our core work at present is in the support, through financial sponsorship, of deprived children, and the communities from which they come, in the South Indian State of Tamil Nadu. This is through our partnership with SDET (Social Democratic Education Trust, a registered Charity in Tamil Nadu in Southern India) which involves us funding various projects by way of support of some of the poorest people in the world.

Many of our members sponsor the support of some 65 children of displaced tribal people of the region. This provides them with accomodation, food, clothing and education which, without this help, they would not otherwise receive..
